Concept, Brand Creation & Platform Build
ARIE was conceived and built as a dedicated streaming platform for abstract art education, replacing a previously unstructured collection of individual courses operating under the name This is Arftify. The objective was to transform isolated teaching into a coherent product: a single environment where artists could learn through continuity rather than one-off workshops.
The central concept positioned the platform closer to a subscription viewing experience than a traditional course marketplace. Instead of selling classes individually, the platform operates as an ongoing practice space, encouraging sustained engagement and long-term development rather than transactional enrolment.
From this foundation the name, brand persona, tone of voice and visual identity were established to shift perception from instructional content to cultural platform. The brand needed to feel editorial and credible while remaining accessible to self-taught artists, balancing artistic legitimacy with practical guidance.
The digital product was structured and launched on Uscreen, including site architecture, navigation logic and content categorisation so users could move through material progressively rather than selecting courses in isolation.
Beyond brand and product design, the operational structure of the company was created. Artists were selected and directed, production of new courses managed end-to-end, and internal workflows implemented through team hiring and project infrastructure using Slack and Asana. Social media strategy and communication guidelines were defined to align public messaging with the platform’s role as an ongoing learning environment.
Content development extended into authorship, including writing sections of course material and shaping teaching frameworks to maintain consistency across contributors.
The result was a functioning platform combining brand, education and media into a single system, capable of expanding its artist roster and library without redefining its identity.
